Room Refresh
Project Begins
The homeowner wanted to refresh the master bedroom. It had dark paint on the walls and a completely white vaulted ceiling. She wanted a board and batten headboard and new paint everywhere.
Step 3
After the accent wall was done, the rest of the walls were painted in a neutral tone to make the board and batten wall stand out.
Step 5
The black paint was also added to the vertical section of the vaulted ceiling to add more depth to the area.
Step 2
The board and batten headboard needed to be framed and painted before the rest of the walls due to the difference in paint colors.
Step 4
A shelf was added to the top of the accent wall for pictures and other small decorations. The shelf was stained before install.
Finished Project
Overall the project gave new life to an outdated space without having to do any serious remodeling.
